Construction:
•mark the measurement AB=6cm
•with A as centre draw an arc of radius 4 cm.And with B draw an another arc 6cm to cut the previous arc at D.
•with B as centre draw an arc of radius 5cm.And with D draw an another arc 7cm to cut the previous arc at C.
•join the lines of the quadrilateral.
•Now ABCD is an required quadrilateral.
hope it helps u.

ABCD is the required quadrilateral.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Construct a quadrilateral ABCD when AB= 5\ cm, BC= 4\ cm,CD= 6\ cm, AD= 3\ cm and BD= 5.5\ cm.

Following steps:

  • Draw a line segments AB=5\ cm using scale.
  • From point A, draw an arc with 3\ cm and from point B, cuts before arc at D with 5.5\ cm
  • From point B,draw an arc with 4\ cm measure and from point D, cuts this arc at C with 6\ cm
  • Join BC,CD and AD

Now, ABCD is the required quadrilateral.

By using scale measure the length of AC.
