construct a quadrilateral PQRS, where PQ=4cm, QR=6cm, RS=5cm, PS=5.5cm and PR=7cm.

Answer with Explanation :

PQ=4cm

QR=6cm

RS=5cm

PS=5.5cm

PR=7cm

Firstly, we will draw a rough sketch ,

PR is diagonal

Now Steps for Construction:

Step 1: Draw a line PR as diagonal (PR = 7cm)

Step 2: Draw an arc 4cm top of the PR and  P as center.

Step 3: Taking 6cm and mark arc top of the PR named Q.

Step 4: Draw an arc 5.5 cm bottom of the PR and  P as center.

Step 5: Taking 5cm and mark arc below of the PR named S.

∴ PQRS is required quadrilateral.
