You need to draw AB6cm and then make 90degree angle on A and B . Then from A take 5.5cm on your compass and and draw an arc over B and A . Your construction is ready.........the explanation might not be proper.

shakthi123: It is possible to construct.

rakeshlariya: thanks
rakeshlariya: one more question
MDHIVYADHARSHINI: what question ???
rakeshlariya: in a quadrilateral ABCD, the angle a, b, c and D are in ratio 1:2:4:5. find the measure of each angle of the quadrilateral.
MDHIVYADHARSHINI: the total measurement of a quadrilateral is 180 degrees. so 1x + 2x + 4x + 5x =180 degrees .12x= 180 degrees. x = 180÷12. x=15. so the Angels of the quadrilaterals are 15 , 30 , 80, and 75.☺☺☺
shakthi123: No, it is wrong.the angles are 30,60,120,150
MDHIVYADHARSHINI: is it ok
MDHIVYADHARSHINI: sorry
shakthi123: You need to take the angles as 1x+2x+4x+5x=360
shakthi123: Then you get 12x=360,x=360/12=30. 1*30=30,2*30=60,4*30=120 and 5*30=150
