here is your answer
Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:
We follow these steps to construct rhombus ABCD by given information ( AB = BC = CD = DA = 6 cm and BD = 8 cm )
Step 1 : Draw a line BD = 8 cm
Step 2 : Now take radius of 6 cm and center B and D draw two arcs on both sides of line BD , These arcs intersect at " A " and " D " .
Step 3 : Join AB , AD , BC and DC . We get our required rhombus ABCD .
Now You can measure length of AC ( Other diagonal with the help of ruler ) by yourself .
Hope this information will clear your doubts about topic.

First of all construct a rhombus abcd in which sides are 6cm each.
Diagonal BD is 8 cm .
Join other diagonal AC.
We know that diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisector of each other .
Therefore in right angled triangle AOB we have,
AB ^2=OA^2+OB^2
(6cm)^2=(OA)^2+(4cm)^2
36cm^2=(OA)^2+16cm^2
36cm^2-16cm^2=(OA)^2
20cm^2=(OA)^2
OA=2√5cm
AC =2(OA)
AC=2*2√5cm
AC =4√5cm
Hence, length of other diagonal is 4√5cm Ans.
