Steps of construction :-

1. Draw a line segment of BC as 4 cm.
2. From Point B , draw angle of 90° .
3. Now, taking C as centre , 6 cm as radius, draw an arc on the perpendicular line segment from B at point A .
4. Join AC which is equal to 6 cm.
5. ∆ABC so formed is right angled ∆ with hypotenuse AC as 6 cm and BC is one leg of length 4 cm.
