Construct a shombus PQRS when its diagonal are 7.6cm and 4.4cm respectively​

STEP OF CONSTRUCTION

  • Draw a line segment AC = 4.4 cm
  • Draw perpendicular bisector of AC. Let it intersect AC at O.
  • With O as centre and radius equal to half of BD (3.8cm) draw arcs on either side of AC on the perpendicular bisector. Let them intersect at B and D as shown.
  • Join points A, B; points B, C; points C, D and points A, D.
  • ABCD is the required rhombus.
