According the question, we have to construct a triangle ABC in which BC=5cm angle B=75° and AB+AC=9cm.

In Δ ABC , BC = 5cm , AC + AB = 9cm and ∠ B = 75°.

To construct : Δ ABC

Steps of construction :

  • At the beginning we will draw a ray BX and cut off a line segment BC = 5cm from it.
  • At the point B we will construct ∠ XBY  =75° .
  • With B as center and radius = 9cm , draw an arc at meet BY at D.
  • now will join CD.
  • Here we will draw the perpendicular bisector of CD, by marking arc of length more than half of CD from both points C and D on both sides of it.
  • This line will be intersecting BD at  point A .
  •  Now we will join AC .

ABC is the required triangle .

Ans :- ABC is the required Δ.
