=====================

Given,

=-=-=-=

A right angled triangle,

=> Angle ABC = 90

=> AB =BC

i.e. Perpendicular = base.

=> AB+AC =10.3

AC (Hypotenuse) = 10.3 - AB

NOW,

---------

By Pythagoras theorem

++++++++++++++++++++++

=>( AC) ² = (AB) ² + (BC) ²

or, (10.3 - AB) ² = (AB) ² +(AB) ²

or, (10.3)² - 2×10.3×AB +(AB) ² = 2(AB)²

or, (AB)² + 20.6AB - 106.09 = 0

or,

Now,

AC = 10.3-AB = 10.3-4.26=6.04

And AB=BC = 4.26
