let the perimeter of the triangle be 13 cm

ratio of the length of the side be 3:4:5

sum of sides= perimeter

hence,

3x+4x+5x = 13

12x = 13

x= 13/12

x is the ratio

hence, 3x=3×13/12=13/4cm i.e. 3.25 cm

            4x=4×13/12 = 4.3cm

             5x=5×13/12 = 5.41 cm

all sides are different so the triangle formed is scalene triangle

to construct the triangle here are the steps :

  • we need to take any side as base here we took 3.25cm here
  • then we will take the measurement of 5.4 cm and cut an arch from point A
  • then we will take the measurement of 4.3 cm and then cut an arch from point B
  • here we can see that the two arch intersected at point C
  • now joint the lines to point A and B respectively and mention the measurement.
