Constructed a triangle with sides 4.4 cm, 5.5 cm and 6.6 CM and drawn perpendicular bisector of a long side

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 6.6 cm using ruler

Step 2: Taking compass width = 4.4 cm , taking A as center draw an arc

Step 3 : Taking compass with = 5.5 cm taking B as center draw an arc such that it intersect arc drawn in step 2 at point C

Step 4 : Join AC & BC

Perpendicular Bisector of AB ( long side)

Step 1 : Taking Compass wdith slightly less than AB , taking A as center draw arcs on both isdes of AB

Step 2 : Keeping compass width same as in step 1 , Draw arc taking B as center such that it intersects arc drawn in step 1 at P & Q

Step 3: join PQ intersecting AB at M

PQ is perpendicular bisector of a long side
