Construct a triangle XYZ, given that YZ=4cm, XZ = 5cm and angleXYZ=90degree.​

• First, draw a line segment YZ of 4 cm.
• Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Y and draw a ray measuring 90°.
• Then, take a compass and measure it as 5 cm and keep it's tip on the point Y and draw an arc on the ray.
• Mow, join the point Z to the point where the ray and the arc meets. Name it as point X.
• Finally, the triangle is constructed.

• Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
• Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of the accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
• Compass :- The compass is used to draw the arcs on the rays by taking the measurements from ruler as given in the question.
