In ∆XYZ ,

<Y = 90° , XZ is a hypotenuse.

YZ = XY = 5cm

Construction steps :

1 ) Draw YZ = 5cm line segment.

2 ) draw a ray YP at Y .

3 ) Take Y as a Center and radius 5cm

draw an arc on YP , which intersects YP

at X .

4 ) Join X , Z .

Required right ∆XYZ formed.

I hope this helps you.

Answer: the answer is D, No congruency statement can be made because the side lengths are unknown.

Step-by-step explanation:

In ΔXYZ, m∠X = 90° and m∠Y = 30°. In ΔTUV, m∠U = 30° and m∠V = 60°. Which is true about the two triangles?

ΔXYZ ≅ ΔTUV

ΔXYZ ≅ ΔVUT

No congruency statement can be made because only two angles in each triangle are known.

No congruency statement can be made because the side lengths are unknown.
