Given :  pq=pr=10cm and qr=9cm  

To find : construct an isosceles triangle  

Solution:

Step  1 :   Draw a Line segment  QR = 9 cm

Step 2 : Using Compass Width = 10 cm & Taking Q as center draw an arc

Step 3 : Keeping Compass width same as 10 cm & taking R as center draw an arc such that it intersect arc drawn in previous step  at  P

Step 4 : Join PQ

Step 5 : Join PQ

ΔPQR is constructed

∠QPR = 53.5°
