1 ) Draw a line XY .
2 ) Take any point on D on line XY
and draw DE perticular to XY .
3 ) Take D as a center and radius 5cm
( Given altitude 5 cm ) draw an arc that
intersect DE at A .
4 ) Mark points B and C on XY such
that <DAB = 70°/2 = 35°
and
<DAC = 70°/2 = 35°
Required Isosceles triangle with
altitude 5 cm and vertex angle 70°
is formed.
