  2. Construct <RQS =60° with the help of compass.
  3. Produced XP downwards to a point X'.
  4. Set off QX'=2.5 cm
  5. Join X'R
  6. Draw the perpendicular bisector of CD,meeting XX' at P.
  7. Join RP.

Then,∆PQR is the required triangle.

Verification:

On measuring , PR = 5.5 cm

PQ = 3 cm

PR-PQ= 2.5 cm
