• First, draw a line segment RP of 7 cm.
• Next, take a compass and measure it as 5 cm an sleep it's tip on the point R and draw an arc above.
• Again, take a compass and measure it as 4 cm and keep it's tip on the point P and draw an arc on the arc drawn before.
• Join both points of line segment to the point where both arcs meet. Name it as point Q.
• Finally, the triangle is constructed.
