Steps :-
- First, draw a line segment QR of 8 cm.
- Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Q and draw a ray measuring 90°.
- Then, take a compass and measure it as 10 cm and keep it's tip on the point Q and draw an arc on the ray drawn.
- Join the point R to the point where ray and the arc meets. Name it as point P.
- Finally, the triangle in constructed.
Instruments used :-
- Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
- Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
- Compass :- The compass is used to draw the arcs on the ray by taking the correct measurement as given in the question.
