\dashrightarrow Steps (1) :-

  • First, draw a line segment XY measuring 5 cm (let the triangle be as ∆XYZ).
  • Then, take a cómpass and measure it as 5 cm from a ruler and keep the tip of cómpass on point X and cut an arc above the line segment.
  • Again, take a cómpass and measure it as 5 cm from a ruler and keep the tip of cómpass on point Y and cut an arc above the line segment.
  • Now, join the point where both the arcs meet to X and Y.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\dashrightarrow Steps (2) :-

  • First, draw a line segment CA of 6 cm.
  • Then, take a cómpass and measure it as 5 cm and keep the tip of cómpass on point C and cut an arc above the line segment.
  • Again, take a cómpass and measure it as 3 cm and keep the tip of the cómpass on point A and draw an arc.
  • Now, join the point where both arcs meet to C and A.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\dashrightarrow Steps (3) :-

  • First, draw a line segment RP measuring 5 cm.
  • Then take a cómpass and measure it as 3.5 cm and keep the tip of the cómpass on point R and draw an arc.
  • Again, take a cómpass and measure it as 4 cm and keep the tip of the cómpass on point P and draw an arc.
  • Now, join the point where both arcs meet to R and P.
