To find:
- Construction the ∆ABC.
Solution:
Steps of construction:
- Draw line segment AB of 5.8 cm with the help of pencil and scale.
- Draw with the help of compass. Let the ray is BX.
- Draw an arc of 7 cm on ray BX. Let the point is L.
- Join A and L.
- Draw perpendicular bisector of AL with the help of compass. It intersects BX at point C.
- Join A to C.
- Construction of ∆ABC is over.
Verification:
On measurement it is found that
AC= 5.8 cm
and CB= 1.8 cm
Thus,
BC+CA=7 cm
Hence verified.
