- in stating that, the most used preservative is Sodium Chloride, or common salt, which is often disguised as another chloride, but it is still a salt, ie; Potassium Chloride;

- while the body does require chlorides, it only uses very small amounts;

- just about everything we ingest contains this preservative;

- while most excess ‘salt’ is discarded by our body’s waste disposal, there is far too much ingested, mainly from ‘tinned’ foods;

- the main symptom of the excess ‘salt’ is high-blood pressure, which can, and often does, kill;

- salt is thus known as the ‘silent killer’, probably second only to the ‘…ose’s’ as in ‘sucrose’ (sugar), and ‘glucose’ (sweeteners), with ‘fructose’ (fruit sugars) being less harmful (the advantage is in the fact that the fruit must be eaten)
