Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

sand in x container = 1200g = 1.2kg

sand in y container = 77.2kg

let the sand removed be a.

now,

sand in x container = (1.2 - a)kg

sand in y container = (77.2 - a)kg

ATQ,

sand in y container = 7 x (sand in x container)

                 (77.2 - a) =  7 x 1.2

                  77.2 - a  = 8.4

                      - a = 8.4 - 77.2

                      - a = -68.8

                        a = 68.68kg

Therefore,

                68.68kg sand was removed.

Answer:

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

pressure inside a fluid = ρgh , in this case ρ = 1000 kg m

3

so ,

1000 =  (1000)(10) (h)

hence h = 0.1 m = 10 cm

hence option (A) is correct
