Heya friend,

Here's your answer,

Poetry is one of the finest and remarkable works of literature. It comprises of the world's finest forms of arts, containing the literary devices, allegory, fables n ballads. The poets use many things for enhancing their poem. That includes enjambments, refrain, and many others.

Almost all writers have been writing poems on the other side of their life.  Writing a poem only requires a skill, a pen, paper and an imagination.

Well, let's come back to your question here.

Why do we use words like talkin' or lovin' or pluckin' instead of talking, loving and plucking in poetry?

The reason is that each stanza in a poem is suggested to have certain letters and words. Therefore, to maintain the sequence of the poem, the poets generally use this form of writing.

Secondly, the poem looks more influential when it rhymes. Therefore, to make the poem more rhyming, we use this technique. It enhances the quality of the poem. It makes the poem more fascinating and contemplating.

Hope this helps!!!

In poetry, an apostrophe is a figure of speech in which the poet addresses an absent person, an abstract idea, or a thing. Apostrophes are found throughout poetry, but they’re less common since the early 20th century. Poets may apostrophize a beloved, the Muse, God, love, time, or any other entity that can’t respond in reality.
