Let x cups of milks are required then 5x/2 cups of flour will be required
so total no of cups = x + 5x/2 = 7x/2
for 6 person 7/2 cups are reqired
for 1 person 7/2/6 i.e. 7/12 cups are required
for 8 person ( 7/12 )×8 = 14/3 cups
so 7x/2 = 14/3
=> x = 4/3

ABHAYSTAR: WRONG ANSWER
ABHAYSTAR: Correct answer is 14/3
ABHAYSTAR: Dear! i know the answer but i cant understand the process
ajayaj: i have calculated x = 4/3

hi buddy

here's your answer looking for

sum of cups of milk and flour =
 \\ 1 +  \frac{5}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{2 + 5}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{7}{2}

the cups required to feed one person =

 \frac{7}{2}   \div 6 \\  \\  =  \frac{7}{2}  \times  \frac{1}{6}  \\  \\  =  \frac{7}{12}  \\
cups required to feed 8 person = cups required to feed one person × 8

 \frac{7}{12}  \times 8 \\  \\   = \frac{56}{12}  \\  \\  =  \frac{14}{3}

so, 14/3 is correct answer

hope you are satisfied with my answer
