Writing on a paper by pen is considered as a frictional force because there is the actual contact of the two bodies ( pen's nib and paper ) . There actual contact is only here responsible for the writing.

It's so because there is a contact between two surfaces which is the top of the pen and the paper so when there is a contact between two bodies it is considered as frictional fore .

FarhanA007: hey, this is ur answer mate... it is a example of frictional force because , in the paper tiny pores are present which make the paper rough ... and roughness is the main cause of friction
