GIVE REASON :-
1. Platinum gold and silver are used to make Jewellery
2.Sodium Potassium and Lithium are stored under oils.
3.Aluminium is highly reactive metal yet it is used to make utensils for cooking.
4.carbonate and sulphide Ores are usually converted into oxides during the process of extraction.

Hey dear user here is ur answer :-
REASONS :-
1.))))Platinum gold and silver are least reactive (Noble metals),so they are not corroded by air and water easily.
2.)))Sodium Potassium and Lithium are very reactive so, these metals react vigorously with atmospheric oxygen to form oxides .storing them in oil prevents their oxidation .
3.))))a thin layer of Aluminium oxide formed on the surface of aluminium prevents it from corrosion . thus aluminium vessel do not react with any ingredient of food and are suitable for cooking.
4.))))it is easier to obtain them from its oxide rather than its carbonates and sulphide .
therefore these Ores first converted to oxide and then reduced to metal .
