Anonymous: Dear friend , √64= +8 not -8 as this is different from x^2 = 64 where x = +8 or -8 .
Anonymous: According to the answer graph of y^2 = x is same as y = √x but this is not at all possible for x,y belongs to real number .

HEY , HERE'S THE ANSWER ⏬

Rational numbers : Rational numbers can be written in the form of p/q , where q is not equal to zero and p and q are co-prime.

According to the question ,

√64/√49 = +-8/+-7 and here , 7 is not equal to zero and 7 and 8 are co prime.

==> √64/√49 is a rational number
==> Option E) is the correct answer.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU !!!

⏺️For more details ⏬
◆ Options other than this contains root numbers . Hence , the numbers can't be rational .
● For example - √5/√25 can be written as √5/+-5. But √5 is irrational .So, irrational / rational is equal to irrational .
● With the same way - √π is irrational .
● Again - √7 is irrational as it is not a perfect square.
HENCE , ALL THE NUMBERS ARE IRRATIONAL EXPECT OPTION (E)

Hey there!

In the above, √64/49 is a rational number because,

√64/49 = √( ±8 / ±7 )²= ± (8/7)

Rest others can be proved as irrational by contradiction method.

Correct answer -> E

Hope helped!

Anny121: By convention.  -8 is also a valid square root of 64, and when you're solving an equation like x2 = 64, there will be two solutions for that reason.  But when you're asked for 'the' square root of a number, the positive one is what they mean.
Anny121: okay ... understandable
