Given p(x) = 2x^3 - 9x^2 + x + 15.

Given g(x) = 2x - 3

             x^2 - 3x - 4
          ------------------------------------------

2x - 3)  2x^3  -   9x^2   +   x  +   15

             2x^3  -   3x^2

             --------------------------------------

                             -6x^2  +   x  +  15

                             -6x^2  +  9x

            ------------------------------------------

                                            -8x  +  15

                                            -8x   +  12

             ---------------------------------------------

                                                        3.

Therefore Quotient = x^2 - 3x - 4 and remainder = 3.

Hope this helps!
