HELLO THERE!!

What is the difference between semi permeable and selectively permeable membrane?

Semi-permeable membranes are those membranes that allow only certain molecules/particles to pass through it.

Selectively permeable membranes are those membranes which are very choosy or picky and allow only some "chosen" particles/molecules to pass through it.

For example, the cell membrane of a plant as well as animal cell is a Selectively Permeable membrane.

Cellophane Paper, Animal Bladder, Egg membrane, and so on are Semi Permeable membranes.

HOPE MY ANSWER IS SATISFACTORY AND OBLIGING....
THANKS!
