1). Conventional rainfall are found in equatorial region as due to direct rays of the sun ample of heat is created during the day and lot of evaporation it rains throughout the year

2). India is considered to be in tropical region

3). The Indian Ocean and Western ghats and the Himalayan ranges exert a great influence on the climate of India

4). In summer due to low pressure the winds from the Indian Ocean which is pressure belt these moisture laden winds are obstructed by the western and eastern ghats and the Himalyas in the north

5). These winds give orographic rainfall to most of the parts of India
