Rahul: I feel very strongly for the children who work at their small age when they should be going to school and working for making their future.

Akhil: I agree with you, though there are laws in place, the situation hasn't improved over the years. Still India has the largest number of child labor. It's a shame for us.

Rahul: Truly said, Poverty and ignorance result in the vicious circle which deprives them of education which is so basic a right of each child. Even my house maid brings her eleven year-old daughter to work with her and my mother always objects that.

Nimish: Making law doesn't suffice, actually each person should come forward to solve this situation. Not only we should deny children working for us, but we should also report if anybody in our acquaintance is employing any child.

Rahul: In my views the government should ensure minimum basic financial security to the poor families in the form of some allowance so that they are encouraged to send their child to school.

Nimish: Let's take an initiative to start it with ourselves and then gradually spread our views to create a wave in favor of abolishing child labor.

Rahul : Done.

Megna: Hi Riti how are you! what a beautiful house you have

Riti: Thank you Megna, we put in a lot of effort to make it look like this

Megna: That's wonderful, your father is a big businessman and I can see he puts in a lot of hard work, but Riti, I hope you don't mind, but why do you guys have so many child servants.. Isn't this child labour?

Riti: Oh Megna come on! These kids are from our village. Their father works on the farm but he doesn't make enough. So these children come here, live with us, they work and make a good earning. Something that is not possible in their Village

Megna: You are right Riti, but these are children.. don't you think they should be in school?

Riti: Of course, but not everyone has the same life. They come from a poor background, and they need to earn a living... they will only waste time and money in School and might not even finish it. Like this, they are being productive

Megha: Just because they are poor doesn't mean they do not deserve a life.
They need love, support and a good childhood. Just like we all had. Since you are rich, maybe it's better to give them a better life, pay for their school, give them toys, let them enjoy the only time they have

Riti: You are actually right, I never saw it like that. Maybe they do deserve a better chance.. I feel so bad now

Mehga: it's ok Riti..  better late than never!
