In general, the SI system is called the core of system international. In this system, CGS = centimeter, gram, second and it is also known as MKS.  

MKS =  meter, kilogram, second. We can use these units in all types of calculations.  

So in CGS, the unit of the volume =  cm^3 or cc and the unit of volume in SI =  m^3.

For the conversion of volume unit from CGS to SI, you have to multiply it with 10^(-6) or (10^-2)^3.
