Conversion of aniline to p-amino phenol

Explanation:

Step1 : By adding $NaNO_2$ and HCl at $0-5^oC$. Diazonium ion so formed on further treating with water will give phenol.

Step2 : On nitration of phenol with $HNO_3$ and $H_2SO_4$ will give us  para-nitro-phenol.

Step 3:  Reduction of ($-NO_2$) gruop with $LiAlH_4$ will give us para-amino-phenol.
