rationalisation

(1)^2 -(i)^2

1-i

1-(1)

= 1- i

|z| = √(1)^2 +(1)^2

=√2

tan theta =|x/y|

= |1/1|

= 1

tan theta = 45

= - π/4

polar form....

z = rcos theta + r i sin theta

= √2 cos-π/4 + √2 i sin -π/4
