A person ask to milkman to give him Milk thats in kilogram.(1kg)

But as we know that milk and other liquid items would not measure in kg they all measure in litre?


So How the milkman Give him a Milk?

Kilo = Unit of weight = 1000 gms

Milk is a liquid, and liquids can be better managed, stored, measured and sold in volume units rather than weight just like packaged drinking water.

Measuring used by milkman in places where they supply milk directly from dairies, it is of course easier to measure by volume in these standard containers rather than weighing.

Kilogram and litre can be used interchangeably for water .

1 litre water weights exactly 1 kg in standard conditions that’s because it is by definition, one litre unit is the volume occupied by 1 kg water in normal conditions.

For same volume, weight of milk is a little higher in the range of 1.030kg to 1.035kg, but again the difference is small, and hence kilo can be used as an approximate term for milk too.
