The values after solving the two given simultaneous equations -

x = 16/17 , y = 1/17

The two simultaneous equations after simplifying the two given equations -

√(x/y) = 4

Taking square of both the sides of the equation and after simplifying we get -

=> x = 16y ------(1)

1/x+1/y=1/xy

Taking the L.C.M of the equation and after simplifying we get -

=> x + y = 1 ------(2)

Simplyfying the eqaution (2) -

=> x+y = 1

=> 16y + y = 1 {x = 16y from the equation (1)}

=> 17y = 1

=> y = 1/17

x = 1- 1/17 = 16/17

The value of x = 16/17 and y = 1/17
