Answer:

x+y×2

5+x=12

x÷2=5

y-5

x×y-17

additive Identity

when zero is added to any integer, the value of the integer remains the same, that is, if x is an integer, then x+0= x

for ex, 71 + 0 = 71

multiplicative identity

when any integer is multiplied by one, the value of the integer remains the same. if x is an integer, then x × 0 = 0 = 0 × x

for ex 45 × 0 = 0
