Copper does not react with dilute hydrochloric acid even on heating but it reacts with sulphuric acid. why

copper is less reactive than hydrogen, so it will not liberate hydrogen gas form the acids like HCl or HNO3 but sulfuric acid is the strong oxidising agent so it can oxidise metal copper to Cu+2 ion.


so the copper does not react with the HCl even on heating
