supplementary angles mean that their sum is equal to 180 degrees so, if we keep our angle 1 as x and angle 2 as x-36 then according to the question,

x+(x-36)= 180

2x= 180+36

2x= 216

x= 216/2 = 108

so angle 1 = 108 degrees

and angle 2= 108-36= 72 degrees
