2. Gases can be compressed and expanded.
Gases are easily compressible because the molecules are far from each other and there is a lot empty space between the molecules.
On heating a gas it's molecules vibrate quickly and thus its volume is expanded.
3. Two gases can be mixed .
When two gases mix they form a homogeneous mixture. Each component of the mixture shares the same temperature and volume.
