e ticketing is not succesful in controlling corruption. For e ticketing they ask for our pin no. of our bank account .they can misuse our bank accounts. E-ticketing agents usually charge extra Rs 5 to 10 per ticket.through these 5-10rs. they earn more than thousands of black money. The officers of cyber police of city’s crime branch arrested a man for booking online tickets from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) website using fraudulent means. The accused had used special software, through which he would make numerous bookings in Tatkal, within minutes, resulting in non-availability of tickets to other passengers. And that person is identified as Suraj Yadav, a railway ticket agent ,a part of e ticketing company. The complaint stated that, between April 1 and April 25, the accused had booked 44 tickets through that website.and the money of these 44 tickets were mis used by suraj. hope it will help u friend.. ;)

i think that..yes, E ticketing is an effective way to reduce corruption. No need to give extra money to other agents for making the tickets. This is how E-ticketing is an effective way to reduce corruption.we can sit in our home and book the tickets without making any effort and parents don't need to stand on long lines hence e ticketing is useful for reducing corruption.and it reduces curroption in many ways.

yes, e ticketing is very helpful in reducing corruption because there is no chance of mistakes .
the payments are done by net banking and the money is taken from our respective bank accounts.
we are also receiving an online bill which we can print as a proof.
we do not have to stand in lines for hours.
we can our tickets in just some seconds.
sometimes there are chances of frauds.
the money is refunded very late.
in this process , we cannot know the people who is taking money from us and they can be hackers as well.
this reduces the crowd in the booking offices.
