in triangle ABC..... let AC be hypotenuse BC be base and AB be perpendicular

use Pythagoras Theo

step 1. (h)²= (p)²+(b)²

step 2. divide (h)² on both sides

step3. (h)²/(h)²= (p)²/(h)²+(b)²/(h)²

step 4. 1 = sin² theta+ cos² theta bcz.. p/h = sin theta

bcz...b/h = cos theta
