Answer:

LHS,

cos²theta/cot² - cos² theta

=  cos²theta / (cos²theta/ sin^2 theta) - cos²theta

= cos²theta/ (cos²theta - sin^2 theta.cos²theta) / sin^2 theta

= sin^2 theta. cos²theta / cos²theta ( 1 - sin^2 theta)

= sin^2 theta / cos²theta

= tan² theta

Answer:

This is your answer bro

in 4th step I do cos² theta as common

and in next step I cut cos² theta

in last step I substitute cos² theta from cos² + sin² =1

cos² = 1 - sin²
