cosA + cos²A = 1
cosA = 1-cos²A
cosA = sin²A....(sin²A + cos²A = 1)
Now,
sin²A + sin ^4A
=>sin²A + (sin²A)²
=>cosA + (cosA)²..........{ cosA = sin²A, from
above}
=>cosA + cos²A
=> 1 .................... (cosA + cos²A = 1, given)
