since ; cosec= 1/sinø and secø=1/cosø

cosec40°. sin40° + cos40°.sec40°
=( 1/sin40° × sin40°) + (cos40° ×1/cos40°)

= 1+1

=2

menakapal999p9aeix: cosec/sin = 1 ??? is it ??
misa3: no
menakapal999p9aeix: then...??
misa3: cosec is a reciprocal of sin
misa3: and in same way : sec is the reciprocal of cos
misa3: plz mark me as brainliest

Heya !!

(cosec 40° × sin 40° ) + (cos 40° × sec 40°)

= (1/sin 40° × sin 40°) + ( cos 40° × 1/cos 40°)

= 1 + 1

= 2

Let's take an example, consider a Triangle ABC , right angled at B.

So now ,
sinC = p/h

and
cosec C = h/p

So, they are reciprocal to each other.

menakapal999p9aeix: cosec 40 degree = 1/ sin 40 degree, but how ?? can u be more clearer please !
Anonymous: its a trigonometric ratio
misa3: cosec is the reciprocal of sin
Anonymous: yeah u r correct misa
menakapal999p9aeix: thank u all
