cosec@=√5 then sin@=1/√5 hence cos@=2/√5 and cot@=cos@/sin@ so cot@=2 and now cot@-cos@=2-(2/√5)

Ezekiel9: i will do it but how can i upload the image.
khushi9d11: u can
abhi204: yeah u can
divyam5: freinds as we know that cosec theta=h/p and according to question cosec theta=√5.we can also write this as √5/1 so from this h=√5and p=1. now we will apply Pythagoras theorem p=√hsquare-bsquare=√√5 square-1 square=√5-1=√4=2 so the value of b is 2 now apply the values according to question
khushi9d11: thanks
divyam5: ur most wlcm
divyam5: tum samjh gyi na?
khushi9d11: yeh
khushi9d11: tysm
divyam5: most wlcm

cot theta-cos theta =-3/2(by using Pythagoras theorem we found p=2 and we know that cosec theta=h/b,here h=√5 and b=1)

khushi9d11: can u do it on paper
divyam5: sorry freind my ans was wrong but now i am giving u right ans i think u know Pythagoras theorem ,firstly we know that cosec theta=h/p=√5/1 now find out value of b by using Pythagoras theorem. and apply the values according to question. which is cot theta - cos theta =b/p-b/h=2/1-2/√5=2√5-2/√5=2(√5-1)/√5 =answer
khushi9d11: thanks
divyam5: wlcm
