putting value of x in 1
2(40+y)+3y=705
80+2y+3y=705
80+5y=705
5y=705-80
5y=625
y=625/5
y= 125

put value of y in 2
x=40+125
x= 165
so cost of one table and chair are 165 and 125 respectively
