Step-by-step explanation:

Let theta be A .

cosA /(1-sinA) + cosA/(1+sinA)

=cosA(1+sinA)/(1+sinA)(1-sinA). + cosA(1-sinA)/(1+sinA)(1-sinA)

=( cosA+cosAsinA)/(1-sin^2A)

+(cosA-cosAsinA)/(1-sin^2A)

= (cosA+cosAsinA+cosA-cosAsinA)/(1-sin^2A)

= 2cosA/cos^2A

[since , sin^2A + cos^2A = 1

→1-sin^2A = cos^2A ]

= 2/cosA

= 2secA

=2sec theta
