To find :

The value of  ( cot 57 / tan 63 ) - ( tan 27 / cot 33 )

Solution :

We know , tan ( 90 - θ ) = cot θ

and , cot ( 90 - θ ) = tan θ

we can write , cot 57 = tan ( 90 - 57 ) = tan 33

and , tan 63 = cot ( 90 - 63 ) = cot 27

now ,

   ( cot 57 / tan 63 ) - ( tan 27 / cot 33 )

→  ( tan 33 / cot 27 ) -  ( tan 27 / cot 33 )

→  [ ( tan 33 * cot 33 ) - ( tan 27 * cot 27 ) ] / ( cot 33 * cot 27 )

→  ( 1 - 1 ) / ( cot 33 * cot 27 )

→ 0 / ( cot 33 * cot 27 )

→ 0

The value of  ( cot 57 / tan 63 ) - ( tan 27 / cot 33 ) is 0 .
