Could an elephant have the same momentum as a golf ball?

yea... that could be possible

if you can think of it this way... momentum is a property of inertia and speed at the same time... basically its an object of mass m, undergoing a speed of v

p (momentum) = mv

so... if elephant is m1 and golf ball is m2

we know that m1 > m2 (that is the elephant is MUCH heavier than the golf ball)

however if the golf ball has a really big velocity.. then it can have the same momentum as the elephant because it will compensate for the smaller mass.
