Could I please have the response for ts curious question of mine? :-
An aircraft travelling at 600km/h accelerates steadily at 10km/h/s. Taking the speed of sound as 1100 km/h at the aircraft's altitude, how long will it take to reach the 'sound barrier'?
- Please solve ts and explain and also tell- what is 'sound barrier'??????????? :-)

sound barrier:-the increased drag, reduced controllability, and other effects which occur when an aircraft approaches the speed of sound, formerly regarded as an obstacle to supersonic flight.

speed of sound = 1100 km/hr

v = u + a t

t = (v - u) / a = (1100 - 600 ) / 10 = 50 s

I hope, this will help you
